Hridaya means Heart, and Basti is logging of herbal oil, retention of herbal oil on the heart Chakra, is most effective to open the hriadaya chakra and release the bad emotions. Procedure

A leak-proof boundy wall, made up of Black Gram dough, fixed over the heart chakra, on the chest. A lukewarm herbal medicated oil by the Ayurvedic doctor is slowly poured into that mold and let stay. The temperature is maintained by replacing the oil in the mold with warm oil at intervals. After the procedure, the mold is removed and the chest region is massaged gently for the better absorption of the medicine. The treatment duration is 30 minutes. This treatment provides relief from pain in the chest region, strengthens chest muscles and pacifies Vata Dosha. It also helps to remove the negative emotions such as unresolved anger, frustration, and sadness.
